Restroom Crewmember/Foreman

Job Description

The Restroom Crewmember/Foreman is assigned a route and a crew by the Restrooms Supervisor or Operations Director each day. The Foreman executes the scheduled route and supervises Restroom staff throughout the day.

Duties
  • Leads the assigned Restrooms crew throughout the day
  • Leads packing of appropriate equipment and vehicles throughout the day to have all necessary tools at each job site
  • Performs pre-trip inspections on company vehicles and trailers
  • Operates company vehicles with large tow-behind trailer units; often drives long distances
  • Has detailed knowledge of Restrooms procedures and equipment; communicates this knowledge to crew members
  • Uses appropriate tools and equipment to deliver and set up restroom rental products
  • Ensures timely and efficient “turnover” of rental products between use, an ongoing task throughout the day.
  • After units have been pumped, participates in the sanitizing and restocking of restroom units in a timely and efficient manner
  • Restocks restrooms amenities including toilet paper, soap, and paper towels; orders more stock of these items when needed; keeps the Restrooms Manager informed of stock levels any related vendor issues
  • Ensures that work remains on schedule and communicates any necessary changes or delays to Dispatch
  • Uses appropriate tools and equipment to deliver restroom rentals and products
  • Follows site plans and field diagrams to execute accurate job set up
  • Provides frontline customer service; supports customer satisfaction whenever possible; ensures the quality of work and service at the job site
  • Manages and cares for assigned vehicles, equipment, and other company property at the job site
  • Ensures that safety protocols are practiced at the job site
  • Ensures that proper winterizing and de-winterizing procedures are followed according to the season
  • Maintains a professional and positive attitude at all times while working with customers and crewmembers
  • Other duties as assigned by the Restrooms Manager
Work Schedule
This position typically works a five- or six-day work week (50 – 60 hours) in the summer and a four-day workweek (30 – 40 hours) in the winter. Evening and weekend hours are required, and 10+ hour days may be expected, especially on event days.
Qualifications

A driver’s license is required for this position. Must be able to supervise employees. Due to seasonal changes in our volume of business, this position requires flexibility and the willingness to assist in other areas of Wallace Events’ operations not specifically outlined in this document. Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and basic hygiene standards during work hours and be able to meet our vehicle operator insurance requirements, as well as be able and willing to drive large tow-behind trailer units. Dependability and timeliness are necessary for success in this position. This position also needs to be part of our event staffing program.

Salary
$20-$23 per hour (based on experience)
