Job Description

The Foreman leads and supervises a crew through a given day’s work. The Foreman receives a daily schedule from the Operations Manager or a Project Manager and ensures that the schedule is executed throughout the day. 

Duties

Duties:

  • Assumes responsibilities of a Project Manager for smaller-scale events that do not require a multiple-day production process
  • Accurately communicates daily tasks and expectations to the assigned field crew in a “daily huddle” at the beginning of the day
  • Supervises packing of appropriate equipment and vehicles in the morning to have all necessary tools at each job site
  • Supervises daily operations of assigned field crew throughout the day
  • Has detailed knowledge of field procedures and equipment and can communicate this knowledge to crew members
  • Ensures that work remains on schedule and communicates any necessary changes or delays to Dispatch.
  • Uses appropriate tools and equipment to construct temporary field structures
  • Follows project plans and field diagrams to execute accurate job set up
  • Supports customer satisfaction whenever possible; ensures the quality of work and service at the job site
  • Manages and cares for assigned vehicles, equipment, and other company property at the job site
  • Maintains and services standing tents during inclement weather as needed
  • Ensures that safety protocols are practiced at the job site while providing a constant example of safe conduct
  • Maintains a professional and positive attitude at all times while working with customers and crewmembers
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
Work Schedule
This position typically works a five- or six-day work week (50 – 60 hours) in the summer and a four-day workweek (30 – 40 hours) in the winter. Evening and weekend hours are required, and 10+ hour days may be expected, especially on event days.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
A driver’s license is required for this position. Advanced knowledge of One Stop Event Rentals operations required; extensive experience with Field Crews has prepared this person with the requisite knowledge to oversee field operations. Must be able to supervise employees. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and basic hygiene standards.
